Your data

Delete your data

Our games have no accounts of their own: there's nothing to sign up for, so there's no account to close. Here's how to delete what a game keeps, wherever it's kept.

On your phone

  • Goldspire: Uninstall the game, or clear its storage (your phone's Settings > Apps > Goldspire > Storage > Clear storage). That deletes your progress and settings from the phone.
  • Thornbow: Settings > Account & data > Delete my data deletes your progress from the phone and, while you're signed in to Google Play Games, the saved game in your Google account.
  • Quickmarch: Settings > Account & data > Delete my data deletes your progress from the phone and, while you're signed in to Google Play Games, the saved game in your Google account.

Your saved game in Google Play Games

If you signed in to Google Play Games, a copy of your progress is kept in your Google account. To delete it:

  1. Open the Play Games app on your phone, and go to its Settings.
  2. Tap Delete Play Games account & data.
  3. Under Delete individual game data, find the game and tap Delete.

That deletes the game's saved game and whatever else Play Games keeps for it. Google explains more in Delete your Play Games data.

Usage data and crash reports

Turn Usage data off in the game's Settings to stop them. They're linked only to a random ID for that installation of the game, never to your name, email address or Google account, so we can't look them up from your email. Firebase deletes analytics after 14 months and crash reports after 90 days, and deleting the game removes its installation ID from your phone.

Ads

Google's AdMob keeps the information it collects to show ads. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings (on most phones, Settings > Privacy > Ads, or Settings > Google > Ads), and choose how Google shows you ads in My Ad Center.

Purchases

Google Play keeps the record of what you've bought in your Google account, and we can't delete Google's records. The game keeps only each purchase's transaction number on your phone, which goes with the rest of its data.
